ESCANABA – Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties will hold its annual community drive-thru flu vaccination clinic on Saturday, September 17.

The clinic will be held in the public health parking lot at 2920 College Avenue, Escanaba, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The flu vaccine is chargeable.

This year, the high-dose flu vaccine is also available, also for a fee. Medicare, Medicaid, Healthy Michigan, and most private insurance may be charged.

Public Health continues to recognize the need to provide drive-through service to those who have difficulty walking. Limited mobility is not a requirement to attend the drive-thru clinic, and all individuals are welcome to attend.

No appointment is necessary, but people are asked to show up during the designated time based on the first letter of their last name to avoid traffic jams:

AD – 9am to 10am, EK – 10am to 11am, LQ – 11am to 12pm, RZ – 12pm to 1pm

An additional lane will be added to reduce waiting times.

For the safety of Public Health personnel, participants are asked to leave their pets at home.
