Over 1,500 people attend Tinsel Town’s drive-thru to Tamarac and other holiday events ⢠Tamarac Talk

The residents of Tamarac celebrated the holidays at several town events.
According to Monique Johnson, the city’s marketer, more than 1,500 people attended Tinsel Town Drive-Thru on December 10 and more than 200 watched the lighting of the trees at Caporella Park.
âGiven the ongoing pandemic, we are thrilled with the turnout,â Johnson said.
On December 11, more than 100 people and with dogs dressed in their finery at the Paws with Christmas celebration, where the puppies could take a picture with Santa Claus, and a week later, 40 children took advantage of the Grinch party, and 25 others took advantage of the virtual calls with Santa Claus.
Tamarac athletes ended the year with an annual Jingle Brawl lacrosse tournament in which 68 teams from different states participated.
She added, âEveryone in town has worked hard to provide a safe environment for everyone to enjoy the festivities and regain a sense of normalcy this holiday season. “
