RACINE, Wisconsin (CBS 58) – As a special gift for the holidays, the Racine Zoo is hosting the 2021 Wonderland of Lights, an illuminated driving adventure.

The event will run from November 19 to January 2, 2022 every evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Wonderland of Lights will be open for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, making it a great destination for families and friends looking for a fun vacation experience.

According to a press release, Wonderland of Lights will allow customers to enjoy dazzling illuminations from the safety and comfort of their own vehicle.

They will enter through the 200 Goold Street entrance, at the corner of Goold Street and Michigan Boulevard. Customers will line up on Michigan Boulevard along the lake. Upon entering the zoo, guests will cross a dedicated trail with millions of twinkling lights passing them past delightfully decorated trees, charming characters, a wide tunnel with an incredible show of vibrant patterns and more.

Guests will end their Wonderland of Lights experience with the annual Kiwanis Holiday Lights. These stunning displays will surround the zoo pond and line up along Main Street.

The zoo says one of the displays is a waterfall made up of seven sections that when put together becomes a 22 ‘by 28’ display.

Admission is $ 5 per person and free for children two and under. Tickets are only available at the door (cash and credit cards only). This is a driving experience only, no walking is allowed. To learn more, CLICK HEREhttps://racinezoo.org/.
